Si Shen Shortlisted for ‘Mentor of the Year’
We are delighted to announce that Rendel’s Market Sector Director for Ground Engineering, Si Shen, has been shortlisted for ‘Mentor of the Year’ at the 2026 Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Awards.
Si is a Chartered and Incorporated Engineer with over 17 years of experience in the design and delivery of major tunnelling projects. At Rendel, he provides technical leadership and guidance to project teams, delivering integrated geotechnical and structural engineering solutions for tunnels and underground infrastructure.
This nomination is a reflection of the comprehensive support that Rendel provides to early career professionals. As our business continues to grow, we remain committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and excellence. The shortlist not only recognises Si’s dedication to mentoring and supporting others but also highlights the exceptional talent across our engineering teams.
