James Meadows Rendel
(1799 - 1856)
James Meadows Rendel, the 6th President of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) 1851-1853 formed Rendel & Partners in 1838 in London, UK. The company later changed its name to Rendel, Palmer & Tritton.
Following the merger of High-Point, a specialist commercial claims consultancy established in 1970, and Rendel, Palmer & Tritton, one of Britain's most respected consulting engineering firms. Headquartered in London, UK, High-Point Rendel was formed.
High-Point Rendel celebrated the 175th anniversary of its origins in London.
Rendel became a wholly owned subsidiary of Ingérop, a large multi-disciplinary French company with more than 1,600 employees worldwide. Rendel retains its fully British registered company status and continues to explore, and do business in the geographical and market sectors it has previously worked in.
