Antonios has 30 years professional experience spanning the civil engineering and geotechnical engineering sectors. Leading the Rendel Ground Engineering team, he excels in project management, contract preparation and administration, and geotechnical engineering design for heavy civil engineering projects.
Antonios’ specific skills include geotechnical design for the marine and infrastructure sectors involving quay wall design, deep piled foundations for major bridge and viaduct crossings, retaining structures, rail and highway infrastructure earthworks and large, complex ground investigations.
Throughout his career, Antonios has held senior management positions with a focus on developing and strengthening geotechnical offices and teams. His responsibilities have included strategic recruitment of staff, active involvement in divisional operations, and shaping business strategy and development.
