Rendel Supporting World Mental Health Day

Saturday 10 October is the World Health Organisation (WHO) World Mental Health Day. The 2020 theme, set by the World Federation for Mental Health is 'mental health for all'. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed all our daily lives, created a climate of long-term uncertainty and left even the most robust of us feeling a bit fragile and anxious about the future.

Rendel takes the mental health of its employees very seriously and fully champions the drive to remove social and professional stigma associated with speaking out about mental health issues.

We offer support to our teams through several pathways, including Mental Health First Aiders who have been trained by the Mental Health Foundation to act as a first contact for anyone suffering mental distress. We also offer access to help via an Employee Assistance Programme. In addition, we hold training and team briefings to raise awareness of the importance of mental health and understand and identify the signs and symptoms of poor mental health for individuals and to help look after one another.
