Technical Head of Geotechnics

Antonios has 30 years professional experience which has been gained from a broad spectrum of working within the civil engineering and geotechnical engineering fields. He leads the Rendel Geotechnical Team and his key skills cover project management, contract preparation and administration, and geotechnical engineering design for heavy civil engineering schemes.

Antonios’ specific skills include geotechnical design for the marine and infrastructure sectors involving quay wall design, deep piled foundations, retaining structures; infrastructure earthworks and large, complex ground investigations.

Antonios has also held senior management roles during his career with responsibilities to develop and strengthen geotechnical offices/teams, including strategic recruitment of staff, involvement in divisional operations and business strategy/business development and input to management of geotechnical resource and utilisation across the geotechnical businesses.
