Contracts Signed For The Construction Of The Estonian High-speed Line

On May 16th, a major milestone was reached with the signing of the contract to build the Rail Baltica mainline between Pärnu and the Latvian border at Ikla. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Kuldar Leis, Estonian Minister of Infrastructure; Emmanuel Mignon, French Ambassador to Estonia; Vesa Vasara, Finnish Ambassador to Estonia; Anvar Salomets, CEO of Rail Baltic Estonia; Taavi Laja and Lauri Ulm, members of the RBE Management Committee; Tiit Roben, representative of GRK Estonia; and Bertrand Burtschell representative of the Alliance 2 consortium led by Bouygues Travaux Publics.

Vardy Jones, Managing Director of Rendel represented the Ingerop Group and stated during the signing: “We are proud to have won this project, which will be resourced by the Group’s experts, whether they are based in France, the UK or Spain.”

This includes our current involvement in Rail Baltica in Latvia, where Ingerop is part of the ERB Rail JV, and the detailed design of the High Speed 2 Main Works Civil Contract C1 in the UK. These projects allow us to fully leverage the expertise and capabilities strengthened by our integration with Rendel Limited in railway and infrastructure design. This significant project win creates exciting opportunities for our employees.”
