Careers

At Rendel, we believe in creating a work environment of mutual trust, respect, diversity and inclusion.

From London to Sydney and across the Group we employ a world-class team of highly qualified staff, ranging from seasoned professionals to the best graduates.  We have a global presence with a diverse portfolio of international projects and companies including, Rendel & T&RS Engineering in the UK, Rendel Ingerop & Aspec Engineering in Australia, Rendel Ireland and Rendel Latvia.  We encourage collaboration and mobility within the Group, embracing the value that our diversity brings.  We particularly value project experience, technical excellence, team work and communications skills, whatever your specialist field.  We look for problem solvers who have a drive to succeed and deliver valuable solutions for our longstanding Clients.  If you are inspired by the challenge of international project consulting and have a passion for working on major infrastructure schemes that shape our environment, then take a look at what we have to offer.

We champion Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in all our activities, placing it in the core of the Group’s values.  We are honoured to have been awarded the prestigious UK Construction News Workforce Award for the best Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Initiative in 2023, recognising our efforts and determination to be a great and supportive workplace for our employees.

We are proud to invest in the ongoing professional development of our staff; whether you are an Apprentice or Graduate Engineer, a professionally qualified Engineer or part of our Administration and Support team, we strive to offer opportunities for training and growth.

Graduate Engineering training schemes are available in both the UK and Australia, through the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and Engineers Australia (EA), and we also support our team to become professionally qualified within other chosen fields or specialisms.

We are proud that our UK Graduate training scheme was awarded the “Graduate Initiative of the Year” at the CN Talent Awards, which recognised the holistic approach taken and that our Company was ‘training its graduates as individuals, helping them identify their interests and support their progression’.

The support and development of our teams is at the heart of our culture.  This is reflected in the approach of our staff and the willingness and enthusiasm shown in developing others. Many of our Graduate Engineers continue their involvement in our training schemes after achieving Chartership, mentoring and supporting those coming through the scheme after them to help develop the future generations of Engineers. Our management structure and diverse project teams provide opportunities to be mentored by, work alongside and learn from our technical and experienced staff.

If you would like the opportunity to work on exciting and technically challenging projects around the world in a supportive and friendly work environment, take a look at our current vacancies.
