Appointment of Market Sector Directors
Rendel has appointed two new Market Sector Directors for the Industry and Bridges & Structures divisions.
Elisa Barrós has been with the company since 2019, joining as a Senior Maritime Engineer. Throughout her time at Rendel, she has enhanced her technical expertise and developed strongly as a manager. Elisa has led major industry and maritime assignments, overseeing multidisciplinary teams of ports and maritime engineers. Her commitment to continuous professional development, combined with her proven leadership and mentorship, has led to her appointment as Market Sector Director overseeing Rendel’s Industry division, responsible for assignments worldwide.
Omar Nabeel joined Rendel in 2013 as a Graduate Structural Engineer and has since gone on to deliver major bridge projects across the globe. He has consistently invested in developing his expertise in infrastructure schemes, and his specialist knowledge is now widely recognised through his role in expert witness cases for our global clients. Omar’s commitment to continuous professional development, combined with his strong technical capability and effective leadership, has led to his appointment as Market Sector Director, overseeing Rendel’s Bridges and Structures division.
