Rendel Limited, subsidiary of the French-owned Ingerop Group, is excited to announce its expansion into Ireland, with the creation of a new Irish subsidiary company, Rendel Ingerop Ireland Limited, and the opening of a new office in Dublin. Led by Peter Morehan, this strategic investment in a new geographical region aims to capitalise on the Irish government’s planned investment in the infrastructure, transportation and energy sectors.
Peter Morehan is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Fellow of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland (ACEI) with over 20 years of experience in engineering consultancy. He brings vast knowledge and considerable experience of the transportation sector in Ireland from his previous role with J.B. Barry & Partners. He has extensive experience as a project manager and in leadership roles and his recent project experience includes significant projects such as Dublin BusConnects, M20 Cork to Limerick, Dun Laoghaire Living Streets, Finglas Luas Extension and Lesotho Highlands Water Project. His key areas of expertise cover project management, the progression of preliminary and detailed design, road safety engineering, environmental assessment, and contract management.
Peter’s appointment positions Rendel Ingerop Ireland to build a strong, multidisciplinary team to work with local partners and clients and seek to support the delivery of the Irish Government’s ambitious, long-term infrastructure investment programme. This includes transformative projects such as Dublin MetroLink, the Dart+ Programme, light rail projects in Dublin and Cork, electricity supply and transport projects as well as ports and maritime projects.
Rendel has a long history of delivering successful projects across Ireland, having previously worked on Dublin Metro North, Limerick Southern Ring Road, Dublin Port Tunnel, Mulroy Bay Bridge, Foyle Bridge, Campus Ireland stadium, East Wall Road Bridge, Pearse Bridge, Waterford Bridge, Athlone Bypass and Lower Lee Crossing.
Vardaman Jones, managing director of Rendel Limited said, “We are thrilled to join Dublin’s vibrant business community and establish a local presence to better serve our clients. The opportunities in Ireland’s infrastructure sector are incredibly promising, and we are excited to welcome Peter Morehan to the Rendel Ingerop family.”
