Rendel, together with its subsidiary Aspec Engineering, has expanded into South Australia with the opening of a new office in Adelaide’s central business district.

This strategic investment is a joint collaboration between Rendel and Aspec Engineering, which joined the Rendel Group in 2022. The new South Australia office has been established in response to a series of recent project wins and increased government investment in local infrastructure across the region.

Rendel first entered the Australian market in 2018 with the opening of its Sydney office. Since then, the Group’s presence has expanded significantly following the integration of Aspec Engineering, with offices now located across New South Wales in Wickham, Queensland in South Brisbane, and Western Australia in Perth. The Adelaide office marks Rendel’s fifth office in Australia.

To support the growth and development of the Adelaide operation, Rendel has appointed Antonio Perez as Director. Antonio commenced his career in Sydney and later moved to Perth where he spent several years working in the mining, maritime and industrial sectors; in particular on Rio Tinto’s Cape Lambert Port Expansion and BHP’s Southflank Mine. Antonio has recently returned home to Australia from the UK where he led Rendel’s underground structures team and delivered major projects across road (Lower Thames Crossing Tunnel), conventional and high speed rail (Crossrail and High Speed 2).
