Cathy Chen Appointed as Market Sector Director for Linear Infrastructure
Rendel is delighted to announce the appointment of Cathy Chen as Market Sector Director for our newly established sector ‘Linear Infrastructure’.
Cathy joined Rendel in 2023 and has since led multi‑billion‑pound complex infrastructure projects across the tunnels, rail, and bridges sectors.
Her promotion reflects her strong leadership, technical expertise, and robust project management capabilities. Cathy has a proven track record of successfully managing multidisciplinary engineering teams around the world on major infrastructure schemes. She works closely with clients, contractors, and subcontractors throughout both the design and implementation phases to deliver integrated and successful project outcomes.
The creation of the new Linear Infrastructure sector at Rendel reflects the growth within our specialised area of immersed tube tunnels (IMT).
