Goodwood circuit improvements

The management of Goodwood are keen to improve the experience for their loyal customers to the Goodwood Motor Circuit. This will enable attendees to major events to have a more pleasant experience using the pedestrian access routes and areas as they move around the site. Rendel worked with Driven International to undertake initial feasibility studies.

Rendel’s remit covered technical studies; engineering designs; site layout; consideration of earthworks grading and retaining structures required; and a review of the long-term impact of proposals on potential circuit safety consideration and operation.

Rendel was also responsible for cost analysis of assorted options, construction programme and risk reviews.
