Livia Adinolfi is shortlisted as ‘Rising Star’ in the Ground Engineering Awards 2022
Congratulations to Livia Adinolfi of Rendel’s Ground Engineering team in Birmingham, who has been shortlisted for the Ground Engineering Awards 2022 ‘Rising Star’ category.
The award this year is aimed at UK-based geotechnical/geoenvironmental engineers with less than five years of industry experience, who have demonstrated innovation, business skills and career achievements; significantly contributed to a project; or have shown superior technical ability via research. Entrants are judged on all-round skills - both academic and practical applications as well as their commitment to the field of geotechnical or geoenvironmental engineering.
Livia joined Rendel in 2021 and is completing a PhD in geotechnical engineering at University of Strathclyde. Livia’s previous experience included railway projects as a track bed designer and she has also worked on foundation and retaining wall designs of civil ancillary structures installed along tracks.
At Rendel, Livia is working on the Sydney Gateway Project in Australia. She is working on the proof engineering check of piles foundation design.
