Moves to Strengthen Australian Presence

Rendel is proud to announce a significant advancement in our commitment to the Australian market with the permanent relocation of our Market Sector Director for Industry, Matt Lyons, to Perth, Australia. This strategic move adds to our expanding Australian team, which is headquartered in Sydney.

With over a decade of experience at Rendel, Matt has honed his skills in major maritime infrastructure projects and directed the Industry Market Sector for 4 years. Currently, he's leading the maritime design package for Stanley Point Berth 3, a pivotal expansion project at the Roy Hill iron ore export terminal in Port Hedland, Western Australia. Matt's portfolio includes other notable projects across Australia, including his contributions to the Western Harbour Tunnel Tender Design and collaborations with Aspec on projects like the Hay Point Berth 2 SABR Independent Review and the Gladstone Oversize Overmass Wharf Study.
