London, United Kingdom – International engineering consultancy firm Rendel, which is currently working on a number of London projects such as Garden Bridge, Thames Estuary Phase 1 and Waterloo Bridge Assessment, has relocated its London-based head office to new offices.

The new 6735 sq ft office space in Borough will accommodate planned growth of Rendel’s activities, following its acquisition in 2015 by Ingerop, the globally-active, French-owned, civil engineering consultancy group. Rendel can now provide designated project office space for clients and joint venture partners during the tender and execution phases of projects. We are currently hosting members of the Align JV.

Rendel also has offices in Ukraine and Bangladesh, two of the firms' key markets, where it has delivered many large road and bridge projects including the Padma Bridge in Bangladesh.

Vardaman Jones, Managing Director of Rendel said, "We are experiencing a period of growth and rejuvenation. We have had several new employees join us recently and we have plans to grow the team further. The larger office substantially increases our ability to accommodate, new employees and we are also able to provide Central London-based hot desk space to our colleagues in Ingerop and a designated base for our project partners."

Rendel's history spans over 178 years across the tunnelling, bridges, ports and maritime, highways and drainage, geotechnics and mechanical and engineering sectors. Recent projects include Maritime PMC on the Al Zour Refinery Project, Kuwait; the lead design consultant on the New Tyne Crossing; and tender design of the Mersey Gateway Bridge project.
