Rendel has been appointed for a Design and Build Port Project in Egypt

Rendel has been appointed by a confidential client to provide tender design services on the expansion of Port of Sokhna in Egypt, the closest port to Cairo. A new container terminal will expand the facilities at the port to increase the 1.1 million TEU capacity at the existing terminal.

Works for the dredging, reclamation and offshore port contract will include dredging, reclamation (including ground improvements), quay wall, revetments, two quay offices, two substations, pavement and utilities.
