Shailesh Bhudia appointed as Supervising Civil Engineer

We are very pleased to announce that Shailesh Bhudia, Technical Director and head of Rendel's ports sector, has successfully been appointed as a Supervising Civil Engineer (SCE) by the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Rendel's ICE training scheme has grown significantly in the last couple of years and, in order to support all the engineers on the scheme, it is important that the company has enough SCE's to oversee individual progress and undertake the annual reviews.

To be approved as an SCE, Shailesh had to demonstrate his qualifications, experience, CPD and be sponsored by another SCE. Rendel now has four SCE's (Keith Taylor, Dan Squires and Tim Hackett in addition to Shailesh) and a number of other senior engineers are also in the process of applying to become SCE's.
