Temporary junction between the M20 and A20

Rendel has been appointed by Eurotunnel to carry out a detailed design and construction supervision for a temporary junction between the M20 and A20.
The junction will provide a new option to reject vehicles from the Shuttle to prevent major disruptions after Brexit. Feasibility for this project started in January 2019.
Rendel’s services includes:
- Detailed design for the new temporary junction
- Survey of the area, including topography and utilities in the verges along A20
- Preparation of specification, BOQ and cost estimate
- Tender support
- Construction supervision
