Ten new graduates inducted into Rendel's graduate training programme
This week Rendel welcomed 10 new graduates, from its Birmingham and London offices, onto its award-winning graduate training programme. Rendel operates an ICE Approved Training Scheme, providing structured training towards achieving Chartered status. We currently have more than 40 engineers pursuing their ICE Chartered status through Rendel’s programme. In 2019 Rendel was the winner of a Construction News Talent Awards in the ‘Graduate Initiative of the Year’ category.
An ICE induction session was held at Rendel’s London office on Tuesday 17th November. Rendel’s Lead Supervising Civil Engineer, Keith Taylor, gave an overview of the ICE training programme. Principal Geotechnical Engineer, Sam Reynolds, and Senior Engineer, Teo Marcel who both successfully achieved Chartered status while at Rendel described their experiences to the new graduates.
Rendel has over 25 Delegated Engineers who mentor graduates through the programme. Several Board Directors act as Supervising Civil Engineers to oversee our ICE training programme and we also support staff through other routes to Chartership such as the European Directive route and Career Appraisal route.
