The Dung Quat Refinery Project was an industrial port project with offshore structures such as navigational aids and dredging works. It also included extensive armoured revetment for coastal and facilities protection. The offshore SPM (Single Point Mooring) structure, sea outfalls and jetties required the use of extensive coastal and offshore engineering computations for wave forces and sediment transport.
