Elisa Barros is Rendel’s Market Sector Director for Industry. She is a Chartered Engineer specialising in maritime and ports engineering with over 12 years of experience working on a variety of national and international projects as design manager, design coordinator, and maritime and structural lead engineer. Her experience on international projects includes the design, rehabilitation and expansion of cargo facilities, container terminals, berth and mooring dolphins, jetties, materials handling systems, caisson quays and breakwaters design, rubble mound breakwaters and flood protection systems. Elisa’s expertise also includes project management of civil infrastructure projects.

Elisa’s recent project experience includes the Weser Immersed Tube Tunnel, Germany; Lumsden Point General Cargo Facility (LGCF), Australia, Peru River Flood Defences Project, BAPCO Modernisation Project, Bahrain; Mindelo Cruise Vessels Terminal, Cape Verde; Yangon Port (AIPT-2) Container Terminal, Myanmar; Poti Port Expansion Project, Georgia; Hay Point Berth 2 Independent Review, Australia.
