Groundbreaking Ceremony for Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer

Last week, Rendel’s Technical Director and Structures Team Leader, Jimmy Brasse, was delighted to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer project.
The Iconic Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer landmark will stand at an impressive 51.5 metres tall supported on pile foundations. It will be visible from over 6 miles away and will be seen from the M5, M42 and M6 as well as to passengers travelling on the HS2 London to Birmingham route. The Möbius-shaped monument will be constructed using at least 1 million bricks and 188 precast concrete segments connected with post tensioning tendons.
Rendel Limited will be acting as the NEC Supervisor for the project.
